Happy Days

Walking down the street in her purple fleece pants and jacket set! Stylin'! 10-29-08

I'm not exactly sure what she's doing right here, but whatever it is she seems pretty involved. 10-28-08

Please excuse the red eye. I will come back and edit this picture later.

This is Maya's "kissy face". She decides she is going to give kisses makes this face the whole time she walks across the room to whoever she is planning on kissing. Can't really help but smile.

Watching cartoons on her pillow.

That pillow was on the couch and she decided she wanted to use it as a cushion so she grabbed it off the couch and placed it on the floor and sat on it. 10-28-08

Maya's learned how to climb into her car seat on her own now and doesn't want any help doing so. I thought it would be appropriate so take some pictures.10-27-08

There's Maya on the steps, and once again, she's got one of those connectors she loves so much.

Putting Cheerios on her pajamas on purpose so she could eat them off herself (I don't know, don't ask why).

Maya in her highchair right after waking up. Eating a pretty common (but favorite) breakfast: Cheerios and bananas.

Adam picked Maya up and spinned her 'round and 'round.

Up in Scranton at her PA Grandma and Grandpa's house. Maya's giving Grandma kisses. You can see Grandpa in the back taking the same picture with his camera.

Maya had just given her daddy a kiss.

As Adam says "there's the two brats in the family" (10-24-08)

Maya got startled by me sneaking up on her with the camera while she was playing with her toys.

Surfin' the web! Just like mommy!!!

These connectors are among Maya's top favorite toys.

Hanging out at Home

Maya was throwing a fit because she wanted in the kitchen to help daddy make breakfast. As I was done taking this picture I told her I was going to put this on her blog.

Adam took this one of us, I was trying to get her to laugh, but she still just wanted in the kitchen.

This was a little while later, she was screaming just to hear herself scream.

And by the way, she's loud!

Adam and I hanging out at home while Maya takes a nap!

Got this Obama '08 shirt for Maya. . . she's swimming in it, but I think it's tooo cute for words. 10-17-08

Looks like her head is detached from her body! That glider is Maya's favorite chair!

See, I told you. She thinks it's her own personal slide. She must get her cookiness from her daddy. Ahem. . . err. .I mean her momma. . .

Pennypack Park and Washington DC

Maya and Daddy playing in the park together. 10-05-08

Maya climbing back up the slide.

Adam pushing Maya!

Adam and Maya in front of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History (I think that's what this one is of).
We went to DC to visit Adam and Eric's dad who flew down from Fairbanks, AK. He was in DC to do a presentation in remembrance of his father who was in the bomber squadron in WW2.

Maya and I in the Sculpture Garden.

The architecture of all the museums in D.C. blew me away! I was impressed. I don't have any photos of the one I was most impressed by; which was the National Museum of the American Indian, which was built to represent the cave dwellings in Arizona.

Taken on the steps in front of the National Air and Space Museum.

Pictured: Maya's Grandpaw, Uncle Eric, Aunt Marisa, Maya, and Adam

Adam and Maya, inside the National Air and Space Museum. This museum was incredible. I highly recommend checking it out and spending some time in there if you ever get a chance to go to DC.

Maya's Great-Aunt Jean, Daddy, and Maya

Maya and her Uncle Eric and Aunt Marisa

Maya playing happily on the deck. We spent a lot of time out there during our latest visit to TN.

Me and my brother; Eric, my sister-in-law Erica, and nephew, Liam! It's going to be interesting seeing how Liam and Maya get along and play together as the years go by.

Heather (one of my best friends) with Maya. Heather and I have been friends since 7th grade (1995), soon after my parents, brother and I moved to Clarksville from Germany.

Maya and her Uncle Eric. (Yep, she really does have two Uncle Eric's!)

The two cousins.

My dad and I took Maya to Chuck E. Cheese, and my mom met us there for lunch. Before Maya would ride any rides or play any games, she wanted to eat and have her diaper changed. She was pretty wary of all the lights and noises at first.

There we go. A little happier now that we've eaten! Riding the carousel.

Maya just slid down the slide and Papa was there to swoop her up. She absolutely adores him! I think my dad is turning into a softie now that he's got grandkids (Don't tell him I said that). ;-)

Maya and her Papa on his riding lawnmower in Tennessee. She didn't know exactly what to think, but did pretty good. I guess she knew Papa would keep her safe! :-)
